Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid brought the Dream Act to the
Senate Floor Wednesday morning (10/24/2007). This will grant
would have granted amnesty to millions of Illegal Aliens and would have encouraged even more
Illegal Aliens to violate our laws. Please take a brief minute to
see how your Senators voted on the Dream Act. Those that voted for
this have failed an important litmus test and must be thrown out of
Congress come their next run. Click
below for more information.
Lots of new stuff to talk about. I've got the transcript of my
interview with Neurosoup where I talk extensively about the MERP model
for Re-Legalizing Marijuana. In this interview I also hint at my
upcoming "faux" candidacy for President in 2008. As you probably already are aware,
Marijuana Re-Legalization" is just one of the 9 major planks of the "New
Agenda for America." I will also be giving you a sampling of my
"long-shelved music project, which is currently under the working title
of "Gnostic."
And of course there will be more discussion about
the betrayal of the American people, by people like Governor Spitzer of
New York, who is attempting to give both drivers licenses and voting
rights to over 500,000 Illegal Aliens in New York. On Lou Dobbs
(10/18/2007) it was disclosed that Spitzer threatened an IRS
investigation if one of the State Senators continued to resist his
"railroading" and betrayal of the American Citizens. Nearly 80% of
New Yorkers are vehemently opposed to the implementation of Spitzer's
plan.
I would also encourage you to do everything you can to make yourself
present at one of the growing number of "March for America" Protests on
Saturday, November 17th, 2007. Click on the icon below for
information on locations. If I get 100 emails from activists in
Michigan I will plan a protest in Dearborn Michigan at Ford World
Headquarters: one of the major proponents for the North American
Union. It is time to take the battle to the real enemy: our very
own Multi-National Corporations.
If I can get at least 50 people to commit to a "March for America"
event in Dearborn, I will arrange a protest in front of Ford World
Headquarters on 11/17/2007. Please forward this "invite" to any
friends/family in SE Michigan. Have them send me an email with the
following in the Subject:
Watch the "viral" video response to
Bill Maher, who recently said the following about those who question
the official story about 911:
“Crazy people who still think the
government brought down the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion have
to stop pretending that I’m the one who’s being naive,” Maher stated.
“How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed
with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV, igniting a massive inferno
that burned for two hours, and then think ‘Well, if you believe that was
the cause…’ Stop asking me to raise this ridiculous topic on the show
and start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you.”
At a time when America is in crisis, one man ventures to the southern
border of Mexico in a big blue bus to discover the truth about illegal
immigration. Filmmaker Chris Burgard’s movie is a striking and awakening
vision of the true immigration story on our southern border. "Border" is
a fresh and controversial documentary that takes a firsthand look at
America’s failure to secure its borders and at regular citizens trying
to take control again.
"Border" takes you on a journey from state to state and exposes a failed
system and a failed policy who few dare to unveil. Burgard’s courageous
journey includes powerful footage in the border crossing regions of
America where dead bodies, armed Mexican military incursions, “rape
trees” and drug traffickers are commonplace. Discover what it is like to
feel “like an American again.”
I'm going to start the "Extra Reading" section with this edition of New
Age Citizen. These are just articles that I think are important
and interesting, but which go beyond my capacity to comment:
And of course everyone is invited to join in the discussion of these
articles, the "New Agenda for America," the MERP Model of Marijuana
Re-Legalization, or anything else, at the "New Age Citizen Yahoo Group."
Just click below to join and yes, it is free!
This video speaks volumes. Dobbs describes how Spitzer
threatens to revoke state funds and IRS audits to State Representatives
that dare to contest his move to give drivers licenses to Illegal
Aliens. Beyond this issue it really makes you think how
these sorts of veiled threats may be used to leverage companies from
firing workers who may be seen by the government as dissidents etc.
Scary stuff!
I'm beginning to work on the "rough cut" version of my long-shelved
music project: Gnostic. Actually I'm pretty tired at the moment so
I think I will just present the mock up for the CD cover art and
introduce you to two "rough cut" versions of songs that will be on the
CD. Let me first let you know the strategy here. I'm
intending on producing two versions of the Gnostic CD. The first
version of the CD -- the "rough cut" version -- will consist of mainly
acoustic version of the compositions. It's my first attempt to
develop something musical that I can actually sell through the website.
This will be followed by a finished version of "Gnostic" where the songs
will be fully orchestrated and most of the mistakes will be carefully
edited out.
So just to give you a sampling let me first present the first version
of the cover art:
And here are two of the acoustic selections that will appear on the
"rough cut" version of the "Gnostic" CD:
You can click here to get an idea as to the inspiration behind
"Rainbow Farm" by
clicking here. At any rate I hope to have the "rough cut"
version ready for sale sometime in the next few months. The
finished version of "Gnostic" should then hopefully be available by
early spring. Don't be thrown by these two initial offerings.
There will be some "rockers" amongst the remaining 12 to 14
compositions.
I've started doing interviews on the MERP Model for Re-Legalization.
The first interview is in the form of a pod cast that I did for "Sense
and Sensimilia" with the Chronic Avenger and Pastor Blunts.
The second is in the form of an interview with Krystle Cole of "Neurosoup."
The transcript of that article follows the pod cast. I hope
this helps spread the word for a more sensible drug policy in this
country.
Goodness it has been quiet awhile since I have done any interviews
regarding drug policy concerns. But on October 5th, I had the pleasure
of talking with the Chronic Avenger and Pastor Blunts who oversee the
website "Sense and Sensimilla" -- obviously a web site about Marijuana
reform. I had a great time talking with them about the MERP model for
Re-Legalizing Marijuana and other related drug topics. Here are the
links to their website and to the pod cast:
This is a recent interview that I did with Krystle Cole of "Neurosoup."
It is the most exhaustive discussion of the MERP model for Marijuana
Re-Legalization to date.
1) Do you believe cannabis should be legalized for all adults in the
United States? Why?
A resounding yes! Of course Cannabis should be Re-Legalized for all
adults. As for why, let’s start with the some of the stronger common
arguments:
(1) Cannabis is one of the safest therapeutic agents on the planet. It
is also one of mankind’s old medicinal plants despite being politically
placed into the most dangerous “Class 1” category.
(2) 70 years of prohibition have had little or no effect in stopping
use.
(3) It has many therapeutic and palliative properties for people
suffering from AIDS/HIV; Glaucoma; MS; etc.
(4) There are no recorded fatal overdoses from the use of Cannabis.
That alone should be sufficient.
But my personal arguments for Re-Legalizing go much deeper. I think it
was Judge Brandeis who once said the most important right, was the right
to be left alone. Consensual adult activities should not be the domain
of any law provided those acts do not violate the safety and liberties
of other citizens.
It’s like the Las Vegas commercials that spew this mantra that “what
happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” What you do within the confines of
your own property, given the earlier provisos, is not the business of
the state: whether that be local law enforcement or federal drug
agencies. It is so important that we push back against each attempt to
chip away our liberties.
I will even go one better. I think that all consensual activities should
be made legal as a counter weight to all the liberties we have been
forced to relinquish in the wake of 911. That way if the state’s
intrusive powers uncover a bag of Marijuana, there will be nothing they
can do about it. We have to start thinking in terms of “creative
resistance.”
My utopian vision is to be sitting on my porch, sharing a joint with a
friend, and not having to worry about a police car driving by to ruin
our afternoon. And if a police car did drive by I would want to feel
comfortable sharing a few tokes with that officer. I want to see a world
where people can start feeling good about each other once again.
Before going to the next question let me say something about laws in
general. Pythagoras developed the scientific method in order to
objectively judge the results of any scientific inquiry. To this end he
developed theorems in order to provide a method, a structure, for
scientific inquiry. It is really this framework, for scientific inquiry,
that has propelled science forward ever since.
As we restructure our legal system I believe there are two important
theorems that should receive primary consideration: (1) The Golden Rule
and (2) The Golden Mean. The Golden Rule is straight forward: “Do unto
others as you would have done unto yourself.” The Golden Mean has a
number of meanings but basically insists on proportionality in all
things.
Applying this to our Cannabis laws requires asking 2 questions: (1)
would I feel comfortable accepting the current penalties that are being
applied to other Marijuana offenders and (2) Are the penalties
proportional to penalties for other drugs: are the penalties in
proportion to the danger they pose to society?
2) What steps do we need to take, as a country, to decriminalize
cannabis?
Ultimately I would fully implement the MERP model for “regulating”
Marijuana. But let me first describe the prerequisite change the needs
to take place prior to implementing MERP.
The Achilles heal to “Marijuana Prohibition” is the Controlled
Substances Act of 1970. We need to force our representatives to take
Cannabis completely off the schedule. Once that is done the federal
government will no longer have an excuse to meddle in the drug policies
of individual states. The raids on Medical Marijuana dispensaries would
immediately cease.
But, at a grass roots level, people have got to stop being so damn
complacent. Confront your representatives when they come to town.
Organize with local, state and national groups. Insist that the national
groups get behind the MERP model for Re-Legalization.
And what is MERP you ask? It is a short way of saying the “Marijuana
Re-Legalization Policy (MRP) Project.” But that is a big mouthful of
syllables. So I like to refer to this model as MERP in order to condense
the concept down to a single syllable.
The MERP Model can be succinctly described as follows
“The MERP model of Marijuana Re-Legalization would minimally allow
non-commercial cultivation, by adults above the age of 18, to be done
without any form of government taxation, regulation or other
interference.”
The “moneyed” drug reform organizations (e.g., those supported by Soros,
Sperling and Lewis) contend that this is far too radical. But it really
is not significantly different than the way we allow US citizens to
produce beer and wine within there homes. Home beer and wine production
is neither taxed nor significantly regulated.
And many activists need to be weaned from this false notion that the
government should get to tax everything. If they don’t tax your tomatoes
or your beer, why should they be allowed to tax your Cannabis?
The MERP Model does not preclude commercial licensing. But it forbids
the government from interfering with personal cultivation as specified
above. In doing this we have, in effect, a mechanism to check government
greed. At about $100 per ounce a lot of people would not bother growing
their own. But if the government charged $400 per ounce most people
would be turning on the grow lamps.
I really think this is one of the best ideas I have ever come up with.
It is so elegant in its simplicity. And it is also part of the “New
Agenda for America.” Benjamin Franklin selflessly gave the world
“lightening rods” and refused to profit by imposing a copyright on the
invention. Had it not been for the lightening rod, large building
structures, such as “skyscrapers,” would have been impossible. This is
due to the associated hazard of fires from lightening strikes. I would
like to give the world the MERP model with very similar intentions.
One thing MERP would also do is act as a Gatekeeper Drug: keeping more
and more people away from dealers that also sell hard drugs. I am quite
sure it would destroy the revenue streams for local drug dealers and
terrorist organizations alike.
Here are a few additional links for a broader discussion of MERP and the
reasons we really need to end Marijuana Prohibition:

How Continuing the Drug War could make Nuclear Terrorism a Reality
by Bruce W. Cain
http://www.newagecitizen.com/Editorials/v8n1NuclearTerrorism.htm
===============================
3) How much of an effect would legalizing cannabis have on narco-terrorism?
Under the MERP model it would be quite significant. Virtually all
profits in Marijuana sales – by terrorist organization and drug gangs
alike – would instantly evaporate the very day the MERP is implemented.
It should first be understood that over 50% of terrorist revenue comes
from the sale of illicit drugs. Currently, Cannabis probably only
accounts for 20% of the global illicit drug market. But in a 500 Billion
annual global illicit drug market that is still significant. We could
probably rob the Mexican drug cartels of 20 billion a year just by
Re-Legalizing. And if nothing else it would keep the money in the US
economy creating more jobs for US workers.
But I think the effect would create a unique form of synergy. As people
have more access to cheap, high quality Cannabis – as under the MERP
model -- they would be less likely to encounter drug dealers that sell
harder drugs such as cocaine, crack, methamphetamine etc. But while it
may be hard to quantify I’m quite sure the net effect would, in any
case, be positive.
Another synergistic effect might be that people become more comfortable
with non-alcoholic drugs and it could pave the way for Re-Legalization
of other soft plant-based entheogens such as peyote, and psilocybin.
Legal psilocybin in Amsterdam has not resulted in any significant social
problems. Entheogens may also have been purposely prohibited because
they have a tendency to deprogram people from state propaganda: ever the
more reason to make them available to responsible adults.
Of course the MERP model would have a much more pronounced effect than
current strategies (e.g., Medical Marijuana initiatives) for 2 important
reasons: (1) It completely takes the profit out of the Marijuana market
and (2) it constitutes a permanent and structural change at the very
core of our legal system.
4) How would the federal prison population be affected by the
legalization of cannabis?
Well, the most significant effect of legalization, under the MERP Model,
would be 840,000 fewer arrests a year. And that IS very significant.
There would be some reduction in federal prisons but most drug
convictions end up with some form of probation. We are now up to
arresting 840,000 Cannabis users annually. Over 80% of these arrests
involve simple possession. I actually think the lions share of these
never go to prison and most that do end up in state facilities. The
problem is that once you get “tagged” by the criminal justice system it
takes years to get out from under that shadow. They force you into “drug
classes” and urine tests and all sorts of totally unnecessary bullshit.
It reminds me of the Inquisitions where some citizens were forced to say
they were witches, when in fact they were not.
And of course they also rob you blind through the entire process. I have
been fortunate to have avoided this personally, but I am aware of the
disproportionate penalties and costs that go along with a simple arrest
for transporting Cannabis. And once your record is blemished they will
be on you like flies on shit, for the rest of your life.
I realize I’ve gone off on a tangent here. But there should be no
greater penalty for transporting Cannabis than for transporting a case
of beer from your local party store. And like I said: once Cannabis is
Re-Legalized all of this could go away forever. Of course it isn’t great
news if you are an attorney, a judge, or a city that will do anything to
raise revenue. Re-Legalization is probably not exactly great for a
Medical Marijuana “gardeners” who are often making between $25 to $35 an
hour either.
And actually the Medical Marijuana dispensaries have created a rather
ironic situation. The irony is that medical users are still basically
paying street prices for the medicine: about $12 to $18 per gram. For
patients like Angel Raich, who requires 7 grams per day – a quarter
ounce – such prices would cost her over $35,000 per year. Since many
medical marijuana users are both unemployed and sick, it is difficult
for me to imagine how they could even afford the medicine at these
prices. Re-Legalization would allow either patient, or caregiver, to
cooperate in the cultivation. Best of all this Cannabis would only cost
about $20, pre ounce, to grow under lamps and would be virtually free if
it were grown outside.
The current Marijuana laws really make you ask an important question:
“What kind of society goes so far out of its way to criminalize its
members, when what they have done should not even be a crime in the
first place?”
I don’t have the space to entertain that question here. But Naomi Klein
does a good job of it in her current book, “Shock Doctrine.” I
definitely recommend reading this book or at least “Googling” for more
information on “Shock Doctrine.”
5) Are you thinking of running in the 2008 presidential election as a
write in candidate? Why?
I am only doing this to promote the “New Agenda for America.” I have no
illusion about moving into the Whitehouse in 2009. Instead what I want
to do, through this "faux candidacy," is motivate people to ask the
Democratic and Republican candidates which planks of the “New Agenda for
America” they would support. The MERP model for Marijuana
Re-Legalization is currently the 3rd plank of the agenda. Here are all
of the major planks:
===================
NEW AGENDA FOR AMERICA: Preliminary Planks
Help Influence the 2008 Presidency
[More info: http://www.newagecitizen.com and click on topic]
(1) Universal Health Care for All American Citizens
(2) A 20-year moratorium on all immigration into the United States
(3) Legal Marijuana for all Adults and Medical Patients
(4) An immediate reversal to the Offshoring and Inshoring of American
Jobs
(5) A strict enforcement on issues of Separation of Church and State
(6) An immediate move from so-called Free Trade Agreements to Bilateral
Trade agreements
(7) A major R&D project to bring energy independence to the United
States and the World through recycling, reuse, ending hyper-consumerism
and investing in the development of sustainable energy sources (e.g.,
solar, photovoltaic, wind, geothermal)
(8) No further ownership of US Assets (businesses, homes, ports, stock
exchanges) by foreign governments or individuals!
(9) Replace the Federal Reserve with a People's Reserve which allows
public oversight
======================
I could be wrong but these are all things that I believe American
citizens want today. They are also required in order to stop the
colonization of the United States by foreign elites: a trend that has
been accelerating in recent decades. But do you think any of the
corporate donors, funding both parties, would allow any of the current
candidates to endorse ANY of these policy planks? Unfortunately, I think
the answer is a resounding “No Way.” Ron Paul might endorse some of
them; however, I am skeptical of his libertarian religiosity. I ran
against John Dingle for US Congress in 1996 as a libertarian, so I do
know what I am talking about here. Having said that I still think he is
the best candidate out there right now.
I am promoting the “New Agenda for America (NAA), because I think the
current economic model is soon going to cause this society to crash and
burn. I fear that there could be a world depression or possibly a world
war in the coming decade. I believe the NAA could stave off the “buy
off” of the United States of America by foreign elites and offer
American citizens a softer landing as this current “business cycle”
crashes, like a lead zeppelin, in the next few years. I’m afraid we may
be on the cusp of a Second American Revolution and I would prefer that
it be a peaceful revolution if at all possible.
But what would be the first thing I would do if I became President of
the United States? At my inauguration I would tell the American people
that Marijuana Prohibition is over. Until the MERP model is fully
implemented by Congress I would set up a department to solely issue
pardons for every non-violent Cannabis arrest. Too bad that just isn’t
going to happen, isn’t it?
Finally, let me say that I do intend to go a little further than
treating my candidacy as a joke. I will be setting up a signup at my
website for people that might be interested in voting for me:
www.newagecitizen
And for those that would like to watch excerpts from my television
appearances and political speeches you can look through my “Video
Biography” at the following link:
In a three-way runoff (e.g., Clinton, Giuliani, Cain) it would take
about 40 million votes to win. Just before the election I would send an
email out to each person alerting them to how many have signed up to
vote for me. Then they can make their own informed decision as to which
direction we want to take the once-great republic. We need to keep in
mind that the average longevity for a nation-state is about 250 years. I
don’t know about you but, as we have just past the 200 year anniversary
for this republic, I’m thinking that I’d like to beat those odds by at
least a few hundred years.
This is a sample of one of the video's from Krystle Cole of "Neursoup."
Of course you are thinking of a street dealer right? Nope, we're
talking about the Pharmaceutical Industry here. Great Video.
Background sounds like Annie Lennox, but I'm not quite sure if that is
correct:
Comment:
I have always been for complete legalization of drugs, however, I am
mindful of the people that must ultimately make that choice within the
confines of a democratic republic. Having said that I DO think the
American people are in favor of legalizing Marijuana TODAY!
Last
week, we reported on North Wales police chief Richard Brunstom's call to
legalize drugs in a paper he released in response to a call from the
Home Office for input on the direction the country's drug policy should
take. Since then, Brunstrom's remarks have ignited a firestorm of
controversy, but his force has stood behind him. On Monday, the North
Wales Police Authority approved plans to send Brunstrom's paper on to
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.
The North Wales Police Authority passed three of Brunstrom's
recommendations:
That the Authority submits a response to the current Home Office
consultation on drugs strategy.
That the Authority submits a response to the forthcoming Welsh Assembly
Government consultation on the all Wales substance misuse strategy.
That the Authority urges the repeal of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and
its replacement with a Misuse of Substances Act, based upon a new
'hierarchy of harm' that includes alcohol and nicotine.
Independent legalization cover (courtesy Transform)While Brunstrom's
stand has excited criticism, he has also picked up at least one
prominent supporter. Lord Ramsbotham, the former chief inspector of
prisons, told The Independent Brunstom's prescription was on the money.
"The present regime has failed in every way. If you look at prohibition
of alcohol in the US, it failed. The Chief Constable's suggestions must
be considered seriously. We've got to stop the dealers who cause so much
misery for society."
He added: "I used to reckon that 80 percent of those people received
into prison were misusing a substance of some kind when they came in.
The amount of acquisitive crime connected to drug abuse is immense. That
is why there needs to be a new approach."
A fourth Brunstrom recommendation, that the Police Authority affiliate
with the Transform Drug Policy Foundation, a leading British drug reform
group, is on hold pending discussions between Transform and the
authority. Transform is nonetheless quite pleased with the results so
far.
"It is hugely significant that the call for a legal regulation and
control of drugs has now been publicly supported by the North Wales
police authority, and they are to be congratulated in taking a bold
stand in this urgent and vital debate," said Transform executive
director Danny Kushlick. "There are many high profile individuals who
support this position, but this sort of institutional support really
puts the debate center stage. We hope to see other police authorities
following their lead, and we look forward to the Police Authority
affiliating to Transform in the near future. The Government have tried
their best to avoid this debate in the current drug strategy
consultation and review process, not engaging with any policy
alternatives despite the obvious failings of the current approach that
the North Wales police highlight so clearly," Kushlick continued. "The
call from the North Wales Police Authority makes the continued evasion
from meaningful debate impossible: the Government must now engage with
the significant and growing body of mainstream opinion calling for
pragmatic moves away from prohibition towards evidence based regulatory
alternatives."
While Transform is pleased, neither the government nor the Association
of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) is smiling. In response to a question
from a North Wales parliamentarian this week, Home Officer minister
Vernon Coaker said that strict enforcement of the drug laws was needed.
The ACPO, for its part, suggested that Brunstrom's ideas were a "counsel
of despair." ACPO president Ken Jones issued a statement saying
Brunstrom's views were "his personal views, to which he is entitled,"
and that ACPO disagreed. "ACPO does not agree with the repeal of the
Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 or the legalisation of drugs -- this is
arguably a counsel of despair," Jones said. "The reduction of harm
caused by drugs to our neighborhoods is a priority for chief officers
across the UK. According to the Drug Harm Index it has been reducing
since 2001. This is a complex pernicious global problem. Moving to total
legalization would, in our view, greatly exacerbate the harm to people
in this country, not reduce it. It simply does not make sense to
legitimize dangerous narcotic substances which would then have the
potential to ruin even more lives and our neighborhoods."
But it is ACPO and its fellow prohibitionists who are on a path to
nowhere, Brunstrom retorted. Three million people take illegal drugs in
Britain, he noted, while 2.5 million are alcoholics and 9.5 million
addicted to nicotine. "This is a real counsel of despair if one chooses
to look at the evidence. Seizures of drugs in the UK are less than 1%.
In 2003 the UK stopped 10% of heroin coming in and only 15% of cocaine."
Meanwhile, as the debate continues, so does Britain's drug war. The Home
Office announced Thursday that the number of drug offenses police
reported in the second quarter of this year was up 14% over the same
period last year. That's another 55,000 drug arrests for the British
police, courts, and prisons to deal with.
This is actually from a "Disk Web" of all the archived files from
"New Age Patriot" magazine which Bruce Cain edited and authored between
1989 and 1987. While many of the videos are grainy they show how
prescient and consistent Bruce Cain's views on drug policy remain.
While much of what he believes seems "common sense" today, it should be
remembered that, at the time these views were being publicly advocated,
his views were thought to be very controversial. Some might argue
that, at least some of his views, are still controversial today.
Copy the "New Agenda for America"

(3) Legal Marijuana for all Adults and Medical Patients
(4) An immediate reversal to the Offshoring and Inshoring of American

I am also providing the link (below) to a Word Document that contains
8 copies of the "New Agenda for America" per page. Soon I will
also release a *.pdf version of this file. If you are reading this
from the homepage of my website (www.newagecitizen.com)
you will see what a single copy of this printed listing of the "New
Agenda for America" looks like:
Here is the link to the "New Age Agenda"
mini-flyer Word document:
Please make additional copies to share with your friends. Just
follow these steps:
(1) Print of a few copies (8 mini-flyers per page)
(2) Cut them into individual flyers with a pair of scissors
(3) Put them where they are easily accessible (e.g., your wallet or
purse)
(4) Share them with any eligible American voter.
Then
start sharing. Share the agenda with your friends, your family,
with the local policeman. If you call into a "talk show" or attend
a political debate read off the list and ask, after each policy plank is
read: will you promise to support this? IF a politician says NO to
anything on this agenda, that you support, respectfully tell them that they are NOT GETTING
YOUR VOTE.

We have 14 months to change the course of the country by changing the
agenda for the 2008 Presidential Election.
What would you rather have: the same old Corporate Presidential
Agenda or "The New Agenda for America"?
I just think NAA makes too much sense to be ignored. It could be our
last best chance to put this country back on track towards a sustainable
future for our children.
Yours in Freedom,
Bruce W. Cain
Editor, New Age Citizen
www.newagecitizen.com
The current mission of New Age Citizen is
really quite simple: I want to push forward the "New Agenda for America
(NAA)" in order to rejuvenate this once-great republic. To do this
I intend to lecture publicly; run as a "write-in" presidential candidate
and force this agenda down the throats of all 2008 Presidential
Candidates. I have absolutely no illusions of winning and -- in
point of fact -- will never officially run. But I think such a
prank could very well garner attention and therefore, more consideration
of the NAA. It is so critical that this nation chart a different
course in the very immediate future.
If you are new to this website I ask but one
initial consideration:
Please don't reach any conclusions about New
Age Citizen until you have done the following:
I am confident that, having read some of this
pertinent background material, you will understand that New Age Citizen
is not interested in either racism or xenophobia. We really want
to leave the United States, and the rest of the planet, in better shape
than we found it when we arrived. But to do this effectively we
also need to understand things as they are and not how we would prefer
these things to be.
For the last few years I have
assembled a number of policy planks and packaged them under the title
"New Agenda for America." Here is the current set of planks:
(1) Universal Health Care for All
American Citizens
(8) Increasing the "minimum wage" to a "living wage"
(9) Replacement of the "Federal Reserve" with a "People's Reserve" which
has Congressional oversight.
Between now and the next
presidential election (November 4, 2008) I am planning to take this
agenda on the road by presenting it live through a series of lectures.
The main purpose will be to pressure the main party candidates to
embrace and endorse all political planks. I may also run as a
"write-in" candidate though I have absolutely no serious illusion that
there is any chance of me winning.
If you agree with most of the
agenda I encourage you to share my website with you friends and
families. Specifically, I would recommend that they all get on our
mailing list so that we can alert them to new content at our website.
We are in the midst of the destruction of the American Middle Class by a
powerful group of Global Elitists. It is not happening through
some hidden conspiracy. Rather it is happening right before our
eyes through various forms of social engineering that are being
orchestrated by the world's largest banks and corporations. The
most visible manifestation of this can be observed by reading about the
North America Union that is being implemented below the media radar
stream and is being implemented with total disregard of Constitutional
process. In addition it is being pushed forward by our
Congressional representatives that are committing treason through their
continued silence.
The following YouTube Video
has the Editor of New Age Citizen, Bruce W. Cain, describing an overview
to the "New Agenda for America": [originally referred to as the "New Age
Agenda"]:
"New Agenda for America" will
become a slogan for referring to the set of policy positions that NAC
will be promoting in the coming years. It refers to a disturbing
trend whereby our elected representatives appear to be increasingly at
odds with the values of the founding fathers of this country (e.g.,
Washington, Franklin, Jefferson) and the American people.
To get this off the ground I
am creating a frames based page which will allow my visitors to both
understand the rational behind New Age Citizen as well as the
preliminary agenda for "New Agenda for America." I will place a link to
this at the top right hand corner of the homepage for now. You can
take a quick look by clicking below:
There is an invisible pyramid of power that exist within this society
and throughout the world. The media effectively prevents us from
seeing about the lowermost level through techniques of distraction and
obfuscation. The only saving grace has been a free and unregulated
internet.
The Internet -- the "New Library of Alexandria -- has allowed a few
of us to understand what is going on many levels above the base.
But even the smartest of us can catch but a glimpse of what takes place
at the apex -- where the power is most centralized. To see this
symbolized all you have to do is look at a common dollar bill -- a
source of value that has fallen nearly 30% in value over just the last 7
years.
Though many would say what is going on is a conspiracy I would tend
to differ. Conspiracies are normally completely hidden, while much
about the "Invisible Pyramid" can actually be learned through various
and rare articles and other source material. In any case I have
always preferred the term "Social Control Theory" to "Conspiracy Theory"
for this very reason.
Every once and awhile I read an article that gives insight as to what
is really going on above the media barrier that so effectively obstructs
our vision and distracts our focus.
This week it was an interview by Bill Moyer's with Robert Kuttner and
a former head of the Security and Exchange Commission, Bill Donaldson,
.It was not just the interview, that provided this epiphany, but the
addition materials and links that Moyer's provided in conjunction with
the interview. Here is the link which will lead you to both the
video interview and the supporting documentation:
I highly recommend that you watch the video and take a week or two to
read through all of the articles cited above. I have neither the
time or inclination to attempt to explain everything within these
important papers. But one thing I will tell you is that these
articles will do two things:
(1) They will allow you to see far above
the base of the "Invisible Pyramid"
(2) They will convince you, beyond any shadow of doubt that our
government elites are involved in a betrayal of unprecedented
proportion.
Though I haven't the time to explain everything the following comment
in "The Alarming Parallels Between 1929 and 2007"
puts the untenable mess in perspective and gives us a glimpse of what
the elite is seeing from atop the "Invisible Pyramid":
The cat is already out of the bag. The
total nominal value of derivatives, securities, and other unregulated
off-balance sheet instruments has been estimated to be 750 Trillion. The
sum total of all the nations of the worlds GDP's is estimated at 50
Trillion. There is no way this system can be salvaged. We need a
moratorium on all foreclosures NOW!!! We cannot pay the usurers for
their crimes. Bailouts won't help. Lyndon Larouche has proposed such a
bill. The Homeowners and Banks Protection Act of 2007 of LaRouche is
based on the precedent of FDR in stopping all home foreclosures in
April, 1933!!!! It worked!!! Why not go with the principles that worked
before and will certainly work again?

Just sit back and allow this reality to set in for a moment.
Basically we are being set up by the world's elite just like we were in
1929. Such disparities almost inevitably lead to global
depression, war or most likely both. And the elite will sit back
in the wings and watch the working class loose their homes and get quite
literally slaughtered.
The "New Agenda for America" is intended to throw a wrench into their
plans. By controlling the Federal Reserve we can give the American
people back their homes and stave off a buy off of our homes and
businesses by the very same Globalists that engineered this global
disaster in the first place. In the past the Federal Reserve has
only bailed out the elite. The last time this occurred was in 1998
when a Hedge Fund went belly up to the tune of 10 Billion dollars.
Of course, when this happens to working people its just tough luck.
But because it was the elite the Federal Reserve literally printed 10
Billion dollars and bailed out the elite investment class.
Wrestling control of the Federal Reserve from the Global Bankers puts
the control back into the hands of the American people. Coupled
with tariffs and other economic tools we may actually have a chance to
save this republic for the true Citizens of the United States of
America.
I urge you to familiarize yourself with the "New Agenda for America."
Print out the mini-flyers and hand them out to friends, family and even
strangers. Let the 2008 Presidential candidates know that
you support this agenda and are no longer willing to be treated like a
sheep any longer.
I find it so interesting how the "Corporate Controlled Media (CCM)" has
so cleverly and consistently
failed to connect the dots
between Legal/Illegal
Immigration, Population
Growth and our increasingly
unsustainable environment.
I don't have much time
today so I'll be brief.
First read the following
article about the massive
draught occurring in the
Southeastern United States.
Atlanta could find itself
rather parched over the next
couple of years: "The
Future is Drying Up"
provides a even broader
assessment of the problem in
a more global perspective.
In a nutshell Beck warns
us of the peril we face
if we do not stop this
annual influx of 2
million Legal
Immigrants along with
2-3 Illegal
Immigrants. Our
population could more
than double in the next
100 years if we don't
put a stop to both
Legal/Illegal
Immigration.
In light of these facts
doesn't seem puzzling
that the Corporate
Controlled Media just
refuses to connect the
dots which
incontrovertibly portend
an environmental
disaster: one that
will largely be caused
by unsustainable
population growth from
outside immigration?
So why the disconnect?
This is an engineered
disconnect on the part
of Corporate America
because they are the
short-term winners if
unbridled immigration
continues. Supply and
demand will continue to
reduce wages, benefits
and destroy whatever
small influence Unions
have had in "sticking
up" for the American
worker. Of course the
Union trends get even
more mysterious as we
saw the other week when
both the AFL-CIO and the
ACLU united for an
injunction against the
sending of the "No
Match" Letters that
would have repatriated 7
to 8 million Illegal
Aliens: both Hispanics
from the south and Visa
overstays from
throughout the globe.
Now unions such as the
AFL-CIO and SEIU have
inverted in their
mission. Once they
stood up for American
workers. Now they are
actually standing up for
Illegal Aliens.
In addition quid pro quo
agreements, between US
Multi-National
Corporations and 3rd
world elites such as
China and India, are
allowing millions of
foreign elites to pour
into this country each
year and displace
American citizens from
their jobs. They are
also gleefully allowing
the elites from Islamic
Terror States (e.g., the
UAE, Saudi Arabia etc.)
to buy up our homes and
businesses.
And of course what is
even more troubling is
that these
Multi-Nationals KNOW
that there actions will
precipitate disaster.
It really begins to make
you wonder what they
have hidden up their
sleeves for the future
of you, your children
and those generations
that will hopefully
follow. Is there a plan
for mass extermination
in the future?
Whatever your position
on these issues one
thing is quite clear:
this trend cannot be
allowed to continue.
This is why putting an
end to both Legal and
Illegal Immigration is
one of the 9 primary
planks of the "New
Agenda for America." It
is that we dislike
foreigners as we were
all foreigners at one
time or another. It is
that we recognize the
responsibility we have
for both our citizens
and the environment that
must sustain us.
If you read through the
"New Agenda for America"
(below) and find that
you agree with most of
it I would encourage you
to print out the
mini-flyers and start
sharing them with the
50% of America that does
not have regular access
to the Internet. Send
my little editorials to
your friends on the
Internet and, in turn,
encourage them to pass
the message on. Then
hopefully in the first
months of 2008 we will
begin to present a
united front against the
Corporate Candidates of
the two major parties:
most probably Hillary
Clinton and Rudi Guliani.
We cannot afford "more
of the same" in the 2008
Presidential elections.
Comment: I came
across this article today, but it is about a year old. This is one
of these articles by a Muslim that must really think the rest of the
world is as dumb as a brick. I highly recommend that you follow
the link (above). after reading this piece and check out the comments.
About 95% think the person that wrote this is an idiot. And check
out the last sentence where he basically makes a veiled threat of
violence. Oh yes, Islam, the religion of peace. Sorry but
2 world trade centers later, there should be no further Muslims coming
to the United States. And we also need to make sure that Dubai
does not get a share in the Stock Market. Finally, we must make
certain that there in no further purchase of US assets (homes,
businesses, ports, stock exchanges, factories) by either foreigners or
foreign governments.
Bruce W. Cain
EUROPE'S MUSLIM communities increasingly are portrayed -- especially by
European media -- as havens for religious intolerance that flourish
thanks to the overly tolerant policies of liberal governments. It's true
that until relatively recently, some Western European governments shrank
from confronting clerics or others who promoted extremist ideology or
encouraged terrorism. It's also true that some European artists and
politicians have been threatened or even killed for criticizing or
mocking Islam. But another important part of the dangerous increase in
tensions between Europeans and Muslims is the blatant bigotry of many
mainstream political leaders, journalists and other elites against Islam
and its followers.
Sometimes the bigots portray their crude attacks on Muslim beliefs and
culture as a defense of freedom of speech -- as when a Danish newspaper
last year chose to publish gratuitously offensive cartoons about the
prophet Muhammad. Sometimes they claim to be promoting better
communication, as when British parliamentarian Jack Straw recently asked
Muslim women to remove their veils when visiting his office. Luckily for
the enemies of cynicism and disingenuousness, there is also the Dutch
government -- which no longer bothers to disguise its ugly prejudice.
On Nov. 17, just five days before Wednesday's hard-fought general
election in the Netherlands, the incumbent center-right government
promised that, if reelected, it would introduce legislation to ban the
wearing of burqas and other facial coverings in most public places,
including courts, schools, trains and even streets. The ruling Christian
Democratic Appeal party finished first in the voting, but the makeup of
the next government remains unclear. If enacted, the prohibition would
affect no more than a few dozen of the country's 1 million Muslims, who
make up some 6 percent of the population. But the point is symbolic: A
country famous for tolerating prostitution, drug use, euthanasia and
public nudity considers Muslim veiling beyond the pale.
Rita Verdonk, the immigration minister who is rapidly becoming the face
of the new Dutch intolerance, claimed that the measure was needed for
"reasons of public order, security and protection of citizens." Nothing
subtle in that connection: As far as Ms. Verdonk is concerned, burqas
and terrorism are synonymous.
Like other Europeans, the Dutch have reason to worry about terrorism;
the country has been traumatized by the assassinations of a prominent
right-wing politician and a right-wing filmmaker in the past few years.
But attacking Muslim culture -- as opposed to those who practice or
promote violent acts -- is no way to diminish the threat. It won't be
surprising if more Dutch Muslims respond to their government by putting
on burqas -- or by answering intolerance with intolerance.
The Editor of New Age Citizen, is
considering giving a series of lectures that challenge the current
"Demopublican" plutocracy with policy alternatives that are more to the
interests of the American working class. The first lecture in the
series will most likely address the current Immigration Reform measures
that are being debated both in Congress and on the streets of America.
I may even bring my guitar to break things up a bit. Expect this
to happen around January 2008.
Lecture #001: No More Immigration: Legal or Illegal
This lecture will address the virtual propaganda surrounding the
current immigration debate. It will expose the larger agenda that
is intent on destroying the middle class by attempting to merge the
United States into a "North American Union" consisting of Mexico, Canada
and the United States. The primary argument against immigration focuses
on the inability of the United States to provide adequate sustainable
resources for the 200 million additional immigrants that will exceed the
carrying capacity of this great country by 2050. The lecture will
conclude that the best interests of legal American citizens will be
served by implementing mandatory employer Social Security checks;
punishing employers with extreme prejudice and putting an end to all
Legal/Illegal immigration until the real wages of Americans is at or
beyond what they were at their apex in 1973. If you live in SE
Michigan and are interesting in attending one of these activist lectures
please send an email to get on our lecture list.
In addition to these lectures I am considering staging a
demonstration against further immigration and Bush's agenda to destroy
the American working class. More on that in the near future.
Lastly, if you know of any Anti-Immigrant Demonstrations, anywhere in
the US, let me know. I will begin to post these on the website.
Also, please read this article if you have not already done so. Very
illuminating stuff.
