Welcome to the 2nd "MERP Newsletter." Since I
just added the entire 2010 "Global Marijuana March"
(GMM) to the mailing list I thought it would be a good
idea to begin by describing how the MERP model is
different from the current "tax and regulate" models and
"Medical Marijuana" models
But first I would like to implore all of the Global
Drug Reform Organizations to help one of our most
important leaders: Marc Emery. Here is what I
would like to recommend:
(1) Stage local protests at your city halls etc. on
Saturday September 19th, 2009.
(2) Make up signs that say something like this:
"Obama: Clemency for Marc Emery and Immediately
Re-Legalize Marijuana Self Cultivation or the People
Will Rise Up Against You"
or perhaps you could even add the fact that it is
also a "National Security Issue" and that we will rise
up against you if you don't represent the majority of
Americans that now want Marijuana Legalized.
(3) Distribute my latest video and
translate/distribute the text of that video to your
activist communities. Tools for doing this are discussed

Now a little more information on the MERP Model for
Marijuana Re-Legalization. I truly hope that MERP
will become a primary issue for the 2010 Global
Marijuana Marches in May 2010.
In a nutshell the MERP model would allow any adult
over 18 to grow, all the Marijuana they would like,
without ANY taxation, regulation or other government
interference (e.g., there would be no control over THC
levels etc.). It is very important to understand that
MERP absolutely does not preclude the issuance of
commercial licensing or commercial taxation and
regulation. But self cultivation is protected as an
inalienable sacred right. Such a system would self
regulate the market without much need for regulation
since the current profit margins (e.g., $300 to $600 and
ounce) would be replaced by normal profits where an
ounce would probably not sell for more than 100 percent
over the cost of growing. In other words adults could
grow their Marijuana for free and commercial growers
would have to compete in a free and open market.
And since the GMM events take place throughout the
planet I have also included a translation widget at the
top of the email so this email newsletter can be read in
virtually any language. Most of the articles also
contain this translation widget for the same reason.

between all groups as it allows you to translate your

questions concerning MERP from non-English speaking
activists.

some support to one of the most dedicated Marijuana
reform activists: Canadian Marc Emery. He is
scheduled to be extradited to the United States on
September 21st, 2009 for selling Marijuana seeds to
Americans. Please read through the following
article and either attend or stage an event on September
19th to protest his extradition:
At any rate we are just getting organized here and
hope that you will help spread the word so we can end
this senseless "War on Marijuana Consumers" as quickly
as possible. To that end we highly encourage you

Re-Legalization. The sooner our numbers grow
the sooner MERP will get implemented.

understand that they have
been betrayed. The time for
the American People to
demand these actions, from
President Obama, is right
now.
